Scheitern und (teilweise) Erfolge beim Nation-Building, in der kulturellen, zivilgesellschaftlichen und (kriegs-)wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung sowie in politischer Hinsicht werden ebenso thematisiert wie die internationalen Einflüsse und Auswirkungen der Krisensituation.
